About Us
Our History
Founded in January 1827, North Salem Baptist Church has a long history of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Much has changed in our country since its founding, but God has not.
We believe that God has an answer for every need of mankind. We desire to teach and preach the old truths of God's Word that are still relevant to the needs of people today.
NSBC is a church rich in heritage. Most importantly, however, it is a church dedicated to serving the Lord, looking to the past for inspiration and the future God has for this church.
Our Purpose
At North Salem Baptist Church we know that God, through Jesus Christ, changes lives! From the youngest child up through each stage of life, we believe God has a desire to have a personal relationship with each individual, and that everyone needs this relationship.
Our church is dedicated to sharing this news with our friends in North Salem and surrounding communities in an array of ways.
Our Ministries
Children's Ministry
At NSBC we provide Junior Church for your children during the morning service as well as Sunday School Classes for all ages and nursery for all services.
Missions
The purpose of missions at NSBC is to support, train, and equip ordinary people to do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God's love in tangible ways.
NSBC supports several missionaries around the world. Join us to find out new ways we can reach our world for Christ.
Outreach
Community Day events, Old Fashion Days Celebration, Revival Meetings, Family Nights, and more are all at North Salem Baptist Church. Join us as we follow Christ and lead others to God.
